Structured Data Coverage Analyzer
Analyze what percentage of your pages have schema markup and identify coverage gaps
Frequently Asked Questions
What is structured data coverage?
It's the percentage of your pages that have JSON-LD schema markup. Higher coverage means more of your content is machine-readable by AI crawlers.
What coverage percentage should I target?
Aim for 80%+ of key content pages. Every blog post should have Article schema, product pages need Product schema, and the homepage needs Organization.
How is coverage calculated?
We check pages from your sitemap for JSON-LD scripts. Coverage = (pages with schema) / (total pages checked) × 100.
Which pages matter most?
Homepage (Organization/WebSite), blog posts (Article), product pages (Product), and FAQ pages (FAQPage) are the highest priority for structured data.
Can I have too much structured data?
No, as long as it's accurate and relevant. Google doesn't penalize sites for having comprehensive structured data. Quality matters more than quantity.
Does this check multiple pages?
Yes, we use your sitemap to discover pages and check a sample for schema presence. Full-site analysis is available for premium users.
What schemas should every page have?
At minimum, every page should have a WebSite schema on the homepage and a content-specific schema (Article, Product, etc.) on each content page.
How do I add schema to existing pages at scale?
Use your CMS's built-in schema features, a plugin like Rank Math/Yoast, or template-level injection for consistent structured data across all pages.
What if my CMS doesn't support JSON-LD?
You can manually add JSON-LD script tags to your templates. Use our Schema Generator to create the markup, then inject it via your theme/template.
Does coverage affect my GEO score?
Yes. The Structured Data dimension of the GEO score is heavily weighted — it contributes up to 15 out of 100 points.
